When it comes to guitars, you can’t go wrong with Fender. Not only that it is one of the first solid – body electric guitars sold commercially, it also has a tone of its own. Each fender guitar has its own “Flavor” and it picking up which model should you play depends heavily on your preference. Before we go on discussing fender telecaster pickups, let me tell you a brief intro about Fender.

1940 marks the decade in which the solid – body guitars came into commercial production and one of the brands that grew up to this day as one of the most successful and most popular guitar brand. And when it comes to the models of Fender Electric guitars, there is one that stands out among the rest, that’s my opinion though. The Fender Telecaster is a thing of beauty. From the tone to the looks, it’s perfect and it’s everything that a blues guitar player needs. Fender Telecaster pickups is consisted of a single – coil pick up on the neck and a single coil on the bridge which is slanted slightly. This makes the distinct and unique tone of the telecaster. However, there are also other telecasters that have different pickup combination that includes a Humbucker on the bridge side and a single coil on the neck or the HS, a Humbucker on the bridge and a Humbucker on the neck or the HH and a Humbucker on the bridge, a single coil on the neck and a Humbucker on the neck part or HSH.

There are lots of different brands and models for the Fender Telecaster Pickups. Some of them include the vintage noiseless tele – pickups that were used in the 60′s but re – issues are also available today. Also a special line of pickup brands are the Seymour -Duncan, a company that produces an elite line of pickups, and Fenders are the one who usually uses them. They make quite a great tandem when it comes to guitars and pickups.

A common situation that a photographer is confronted with quite often is the proper way a model should be directed, in order to follow your directions. There is a fine line between guiding the model politely and being too intrusive to get your message through. As a general rule you should never touch a model without asking permission to do so.

Working with a number of different models, I have found various effective ways in order to get the models follow my directions with ease. Below I have outlined three different ways, that I am sure you will find them beneficial.

Guide 1

I cannot stress enough the fact, that for a successful photo shoot planning should be done well in advance. Upon discussing with your model issues such as clothing and location, you should advice your model to do some homework. Tell your model to buy some fashion magazines and pick any poses that she likes. Before meeting for the actual photo shoot, inform her to bring along some of the picture cuttings, in order for you to understand what style and type of poses she is eager to do.

Guide 2

Another way that has proven to be very effective is to ask the model to bring along a female friend. This can turn out to be very helpful when you simply cannot get the right pose from your model. You can politely ask her friend to move your model around in the way you want. This way, through her friend, you would have a pair of ‘virtual’ manipulative hands. You can have a female assistant to support you instead of a friend, but needless to say, this would incur more costs for the model. Also, there is no guarantee that the model would feel comfortable with this set up.

Guide 3

When the spoken word has no effect, resolve in using your body language. This is very effective. Through your body, you can direct the model by showing her how much to tilt forward, turn, bend or move. Due to various reasons, this is not always practical. This is due to the size and flexibility of the photographer and the complexity of the pose. In such circumstances some pre set hand signs can work wonders. Agree on what signs mean what before you start the session. You will be amazed on how much work can be done without uttering a single word at times!

Be prepared!

Warm currents are now just beginning to emerge. So if you feel the need to shed those winter clothes, please feel free to do. New days are upon us. And the time may soon be right to have yet another drink. But please be advised that on the west coast of Gibraltar there is a silly little girl. Her hand is steady and her heart is gold. It is there that you should go. But let me tell you something, boy! The meat cleavers are in the kitchen so it would be better for you to avoid the Christmas rush. I suggest that you move on down to Montague street. There will be plenty of pretty girls with big nipples and amorous eyes.

So swim deeply and remember to bring your important books. Of course there is a fine line between being a lowly cretin and a master scientist. But the depth of your study will take you to places that other people will often be quite afraid to go. Yes, Jaques Cousteau was a madman. At night he would often fry fish like a young boy in an unsavory, insipid English upholstery store. But be careful on Bleak street near Montague, you might find the notorious mad hatter in a very rare state of mind. There is no doubt that he is the snowman. Yes, he is the shit. So if you wish he can teach you many new controversial things. But before you do anything, just look at the size of his fists. In winter, it has been said that he kept his girlfriend warm as she nestled between some yellow glue and a spartan horse. But above all I suggest that you look at his middle eye. It will give you proper directions. And you will know that if your cornea becomes scratched, you will be able to take a very refreshing swim. Believe me! I know that he won’t mind. It is time to get back to the basics, my boy. And I know the snowman’s fundamentals are extremely sound.
